Lara Latrasse

Lara Latrasse is an experienced R&D Engineer currently working at Ecole Centrale de Nantes since January 2021, focusing on marine renewable energy technologies at the SEM-REV test site. Previous roles include Project Engineer at Jifmar Offshore Services and Senior Subsea Cable Engineer at Kraken Subsea Solutions, where Lara specialized in engineering services for marine renewable energy projects. Earlier experience includes positions as a Subsea/Marine Renewable Engineer and Subsea Engineer at Wood Group Kenny, where responsibilities encompassed pipeline and power cable design, project management, and business development in the marine renewable sector. Lara also completed an engineering traineeship at EOSEA and has held various roles in customer service, gaining valuable teamwork and responsibility skills. Lara holds a Master of Science in Renewables from Polytech Montpellier and completed preparatory classes in Mathematics and Physics.
