Yeonjoong Kim

Yeonjoong KIM is a PhD candidate and researcher at Ecole Centrale de Nantes since April 2022, focusing on Hybrid Naval Propulsion. Previous experience includes a role as a Service Technician at Alfa Laval in mid-2019, providing after-sales support for industrial boilers. Prior to this, Yeonjoong KIM served as a Second Engineer and Third Engineer at SK Shipping Co., Ltd from 2013 to 2018, managing auxiliary machinery and systems in the engine room of VLCC and LPGC vessels. Yeonjoong KIM's educational background encompasses multiple advanced degrees, including a PhD from Centrale Nantes, an MS in Renewable Energy from EIT InnoEnergy, and an MEng in Energy Engineering and Management from Instituto Superior Técnico, alongside studies at other prestigious institutions.
