Kate Eleanor Philpot

Kate Eleanor Philpot is an accomplished Senior Ecological Consultant at Ecology by Design Ltd since March 2017, bringing extensive experience from prior positions including Assistant Ecologist at Thomson Ecology Ltd and as a Dive Master and Kayak Guide with Skopelos Dive Centre and Kayaking Skopelos. In the role of Chief Scientific Officer at Korallion Lab, significant contributions included the design of a research project focused on reef fish and the development of educational programs on coral ecology. Prior experience also encompasses veterinary assistance at Whitehouse Vets, research support at Cambridge University on lizard evolution, and project involvement with the Belize Shark Project. Kate holds a Master's Degree in Conservation and Biodiversity from the University of Exeter and a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from Cardiff University.
