Erika H. James

Erika H. James serves as the Dean of The Wharton School since July 2020 and is a Board Member of both The Economic Club of New York and Morgan Stanley as of 2024 and 2022, respectively. Previously, Erika was the Dean at Emory University Goizueta Business School from 2014 to 2020 and the President of the Institute for Crisis Management from 2012 to 2014. Erika also held the position of Senior Associate Dean for Executive Education and Professor at the University of Virginia Darden School of Business from 2001 to 2014. Additionally, a Visiting Associate Professor at Harvard Business School in 2008-2009, Erika taught courses in organizational behavior and executive education. Erika H. James earned a PhD in Organizational Psychology from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Pomona College.
