Lisa Lynch is an accomplished academic and economist with extensive experience in research and leadership roles. Since January 1993, Lisa has served as a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research and as a Research Fellow at the IZA - Institute for the Study of Labor since January 2001. Currently, Lisa holds the position of Director at the Economic Policy Institute, a role assumed in January 2017. Previously, Lisa was Provost and Executive Vice President of Academic Affairs at Brandeis University from July 2008 to January 2021, where additional roles included Interim President and Dean. Lisa has also held positions at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and Tufts University, among others. Lisa earned a Ph.D. in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and has been recognized for contributions to the field through lectures and leadership in various organizations.
