Michael Derosa

Born in Weirton, WV, Michael graduated first in his class with a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology. He then received a Master's in Business Administration from The Wharton School and was a Palmer Scholar.

Michael has a wealth of professional experience. He has 21 years of experience in private and growth equity investing. Michael currently serves as a Managing Director of CommonWealth Equity Partners and a Managing Director of Element Partners. He also has experience serving as a Managing Director at Activate Capital, a Partner at Cordova Ventures, a Principal at EnerTech Capital, and a Senior Associate at Safeguard International Fund. Prior to private equity, Michael had roles as a consultant at Booz-Allen & Hamilton and in Corporate Finance at Ford Motors.

Michael has served on 18 boards over the years, including TPI Composites (Nasdaq: TPIC), Agility Fuel Systems, Aspex, TAS Energy, Detechtion, International Fiber Corp, Energex, EcoSmart Technologies, Axonn, and Arbinet (Nasdaq:ARBX).
