Claus Dr. Hackmann is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investment management and corporate governance. Currently serving as a Board Observer for multiple companies, including Ecorobotix and Groundwork BioAg, and holding positions as a member of the Board of Directors for FortePhest and Computomics, Claus has a strong track record in supporting start-ups and SMEs, particularly in global scouting and due diligence. Previously, Claus worked at BASF Venture Capital GmbH as a Senior Investment Manager, where responsibilities included overseeing start-up investments in regions such as Israel and the UK, alongside significant roles including Head of Production of Electronic Materials and Head of Business Process Management for the Detergents and Formulations unit. Academic qualifications include a Post Doc from UC Santa Barbara and a Diplom/Promotion in Chemistry from the University of Münster.
