Peter Stephen

Peter Stephen is an experienced leader in environmental services and conservation, currently serving as Regional Director and Head of Nature-Based Solutions for Asia-Pacific at ecosecurities since October 2021. Previously, Peter held the role of Deputy Country Director at The Nature Conservancy Australia, where responsibilities included enhancing organizational performance and managing a $25 million program during a transition period. Additional roles include General Manager at Greening Australia and Senior Adviser for USAID's Lowering Emissions in Asia's Forests project. Peter's expertise spans climate change, natural climate solutions, and ecological restoration, supported by extensive consultancy work and a strong academic background with multiple advanced degrees from the University of Melbourne and Deakin University.
