Steve Sherwood

Steve Sherwood is the Chairman and Founding Partner of CWS Capital Partners, LLC, an investment management company. Steve co-founded CWS in 1977 and is now focused on guiding CWS strategically in addition to a number of philanthropic efforts outside the company.

Steve serves on the global board of directors of The Hunger Project, an organization whose sole mission is to end chronic hunger in the world. He is also a board member of Ecovative Design, LLC where he has been an investor in their sustainable innovation since 2010. He also served on the board of directors of the Texas Tech Foundation and is an active member of YPO and CEO. He and his wife, Brenda, created the Sherwood Foundation in 2015 to support the success of first-generation college students through their scholarship program. Steve received a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas Tech University.
