Marco Briceño

Marco Briceño is an experienced professional in the field of renewable energy and green building design, currently serving as an EDGE Expert at EDGE Buildings since December 2020, providing technical support for green building certification in Ecuador. In addition, Marco Briceño has been a docente at UDLA Quito since September 2017 and previously worked as a consultant at CB Constructores, focusing on feasibility analysis of renewable energy projects, particularly in rural electrification. Past roles include specialist in renewable energies at ENERPRO, where Marco Briceño was involved in project design and energy efficiency analysis, and participation in various internships and engineering positions related to bioenergy and mechanical engineering. Marco Briceño holds a Master of Science in Renewable Energy from Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg and is currently a PhD candidate in Engineering and Industrial Production with a focus on Energy at Universitat Politècnica de València.
