Dan Bowen

Dan Bowen is a Mechanical Design Engineer at Edge Energy Ltd since September 2024, previously holding the position of Head of Mechanical Engineering & Process Design at Bot-Hive from March 2023 to September 2024. Prior experience includes a PhD Researcher role at the University of Bath, where research focused on developing flexible processes related to the English wheel technique, and a Research Assistant role conducting market research for prototype processes. Dan also served as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant for a modeling and simulation module and was a Course Tutor at Villiers Park Educational Trust. Earlier engineering experience includes a Design Engineer position at Mpac Langen, where autonomous packaging machinery was developed, and roles as a Surveyor and Mechanic in 2013 and 2012, respectively. Dan Bowen holds a PhD and a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath.
