Kaelan Forbes

Kaelan Forbes is currently aTalent Equity Consultant at Edgility Consulting. Prior to this, they worked as a Business Analyst & Social Outreach Coordinator at CandleScience. While at CandleScience, Kaelan launched the philanthropy and community sponsorship initiative, which has invested or donated over $325k to local nonprofits and credit unions since August 2019. They also spearheaded the first annual homegrown business workshop on candle making for 20 women of color in partnership with the Women’s Business Center of North Carolina under the Institute of Minority Economic Development.

Kaelan Forbes has a Master of Business Administration from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School with a focus in management consulting and sustainable enterprise. They also have a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne. Kaelan is also certified in diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace from USF Corporate Training and Professional Education.
