Diana Ascher

Diana Ascher, PhD, MBA, currently serves as the Head of Research and Senior Advisor on Data Ethics and Responsible AI at EDM Council since December 2017. In addition to this role, Diana is the Chief Executive Officer of the Information Ethics & Equity Institute, which focuses on developing educational programs for data and information workers. Experience spans multiple leadership positions, including Director of IS Lab at UCLA and Director of Education at Business U, where strategic oversight and compliance with accreditation standards were key responsibilities. With a robust educational background featuring a PhD in Information Studies and an MBA focused on ethics and leadership, Diana combines extensive expertise in information research, ethics, and equity with practical consultancy experience across various organizations.
