Philipp Sueltrop

Philipp Sueltrop is the Chief Technology Officer at Kea Aerospace, where responsibilities include the development of the unmanned high altitude aircraft, Kea Atmos, the largest unmanned aircraft designed in the Southern Hemisphere. Additionally, Philipp is an EHF Fellow with the Edmund Hillary Fellowship since October 2020. Previous experience includes a role as a Student Assistant at DLR from November 2010 to June 2014, focusing on the enhancement of unmanned aircraft simulations and supporting flight tests. Philipp holds a PhD in Rocket Flight Mechanics and Control from the University of Canterbury, as well as a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution. Furthermore, Philipp studied Buddhist Studies at the Rangjung Yeshe Institute at Kathmandu University.
