Amana Parveen

Amana Parveen is an experienced researcher and mentor currently engaged with Wedu since February 2022 and Dreami since October 2022. Amana has contributed to the American India Foundation as an Application Reviewer for the Banyan Impact Fellowship and has played a significant role in the Led By Foundation, participating in the LedBy Accelerator program for professional development aimed at Indian Muslim women. Previously, Amana served as a Facilitator and AIF Banyan Impact Fellow with the American India Foundation, focusing on enhancing livelihoods for marginalized women artisans in India. Additional experiences include being an Atlas Corps Scholar and completing internships at Bright Network and Goonj. Academically, Amana is pursuing an MSc in Development Studies at SOAS University of London and holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, along with multiple certifications in women empowerment and human rights.
