Hakan Başağaoğlu

Hakan Başağaoğlu is an accomplished professional in the fields of civil and environmental engineering and hydrogeology. Currently serving as Associate Director of Modeling at Edwards Aquifer Authority since January 2019, Hakan has previously held significant roles, including Principal Scientist at Southwest Research Institute from August 2006 to January 2019 and Research Associate at both Oregon State University and Idaho National Laboratory. Hakan's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of California, Davis, complemented by minors in Applied Mathematics and Statistics, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Geological Engineering from Middle East Technical University.
