Dexter Brooks has extensive experience in federal employment law and operations, currently serving as the Associate Director of the Office of Federal Operations at the EEOC since October 1998. In this role, Dexter Brooks collaborates with federal agencies to ensure discrimination-free opportunities and provides technical guidance and oversight. Previously, Dexter Brooks held the position of Training & Outreach Director, where educational activities were conducted for federal sector stakeholders through both free outreach and fee-based training courses. Additional legal experience includes serving as an Attorney Advisor at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and as an Attorney at the U.S. Department of Labor. Dexter Brooks earned a Juris Doctor degree in Labor/Employment from Howard University School of Law (1996) and a Bachelor of Science in Business from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (1991).
