Laurens Dragstra

Laurens Dragstra has extensive experience in the field of law and political science. Currently serving as Raadadviseur/plaatsvervangend griffier at the Eerste Kamer der Staten-Generaal since May 2009, Laurens has also held academic positions at the University of Amsterdam, where involvement included roles as Docent staatsrecht and Promovendus, culminating in a doctoral thesis focused on the constitutional aspects of political party financing. Laurens's academic journey began with a Junior docent staatsrecht position in 2001, alongside achieving an LL.M. in Law from the University of Amsterdam between 1998 and 2002.
