Brad Yates

Brad Yates is a seasoned professional in cloud application architecture with extensive experience in transitioning microservices to cloud environments. Currently serving as a Senior Cloud Application Architect at Effectual since July 2023, Brad previously held a similar role at Amazon Web Services (AWS), where expertise in developing cloud-native solutions for the Oil & Gas industry was demonstrated. A long tenure at ExxonMobil spanned various roles including Cloud Architect and Solutions Architect, focusing on enterprise IT consulting and the integration of high-performance computing applications. Earlier experience includes contributions as a Teaching Assistant at Brigham Young University and an IT Assistant at the International Plant Nutrition Institute. Brad holds a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Brigham Young University, obtained in 2008.
