Sanjeevan Illanco

Sanjeevan Illanco is an Efficiency Specialist at EfficiencyOne since March 2023, with previous experience as a Carbon Accounting Project Lead at BlueNode Inc., where responsibilities included tracking carbon emissions in the Port of Halifax. Sanjeevan served as a Tennis Instructor for the Municipality of the County of Kings and worked as a Climate Intern at Clean Foundation, focusing on solid waste analysis. At Dalhousie University, Sanjeevan held roles as a Resident Assistant and Teaching Assistant, in addition to participating in a capstone project with the Ecology Action Centre on coastal adaptation to climate change. A sustainability research internship at the Centre for Science and Environment in New Delhi examined electric vehicle policies, while an entrepreneurial venture involved managing a large-scale tree-based organic farm. Sanjeevan holds a Bachelor of Arts in Environment, Sustainability & Society and Economics from Dalhousie University and completed high school at KSR Akshara Academy.
