Damian Casale

Damian Casale is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as the Principal Data Engineer and Tech Lead for the Data Intelligence Platform at Egress, a KnowBe4 company, since December 2014. With a rich background in data platform architecture and leadership, Damian has successfully expanded the Data Platform team and launched significant initiatives to democratize data and implement advanced ML/AI solutions. Prior to Egress, experiences include roles such as CTO at Dreamstar Cash S.L., where strategic planning and agile methodologies were emphasized, and Senior Web Engineer at Castalia Media S.L., focusing on a node.js based membership system. Additional positions range from Technical Director at Qubie to Systems/Network Engineer at Opal Technologies, showcasing a robust foundation in both software and system architectures, alongside a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Sheffield Hallam University.
