Nigel Brandon has been an advisor at EH Group Engineering since 2017. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Project Leader at SOLIDpower / HTceramix SA from 2011-2017. There, they were responsible for the development of mCHP systems based on SOFC technology. This included coordinating tasks and work flow between team members in Switzerland and production team in Italy, as well as designing products from concept to prototype. Nigel also implemented DFSS (Design for Six Sigma) and DFX (Design for Excellence) methodologies throughout product development process, and prepared ‘Risk Assessment’ and Co-development of cold BOP components for a mCHP system.
Nigel Brandon has a PhD in Fuel Cell Engineering from Imperial College London, and an MSc in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering from the American University of Armenia. Nigel is certified by the Institution of Civil Engineers in the Backer Medal, and by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers as a Chartered Engineer (CEng) and MIMechE. Nigel also has a certification from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Architecture & Systems Engineering: Models and Methods to Manage Complex Systems.
