Nicol van Heerden Pr.eng

Nicol van Heerden Pr.Eng is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in control and instrumentation, civil/structural, and mechanical engineering. Currently serving as the Group Lead at EHL Engineering Group since October 2020, Nicol focuses on fostering strong partnerships with clients while overseeing quality deliverables and strategic planning within the C&I department. Prior to this role, Nicol held multiple positions at SyncSystems, culminating in a Senior Control and Instrumentation Engineer role, and managed various aspects of electrical and control systems design, commissioning, and project management. An early career at the University of Johannesburg as a systems engineering assistant provided valuable mentoring experience for engineering students. Nicol holds a B.Eng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Johannesburg.
