Jon Gomez Garai

Jon Gomez Garai is an experienced media professional serving as the Director of Binke, the first magazine published entirely in Euskara in Galdakao and Usansolo since January 2016. Additionally, Jon has been a Presenter at EITB since 2010, overseeing programs such as 'SexSua' and 'IBIL2D.' As a Contributor to Euskadi Irratia since July 2014, Jon participates weekly in the Uda Gorrian program. Jon has established a freelance career as a Speaker, delivering talks on social media and motivating youth to continue their education in Euskera through collaborations with Alkarbide & Topagunea. Past roles include presenting various cultural events for local municipalities and collaborations with outlets such as Cadena SER. Jon holds a degree in Journalism from the Universidad del País Vasco, complemented by earlier educational experiences in literature and compulsory education.
