Samuel Campos

Samuel Campos has extensive experience in the electric utility industry, currently serving as a NERC Trainer at El Paso Electric Company since November 2000. In this role, Samuel collaborates with System Operations Management and EMS Support to create effective training solutions for System Operations and Support Personnel, ensuring compliance with FERC, NERC, and NAESB standards. Previous roles at El Paso Electric include Senior System Operator Generation, where responsibilities included balancing load and generation as well as adhering to NERC standards, and System Controller, overseeing transmission equipment monitoring. Earlier experience includes working as a Database Administrator and Programmer Analyst, applying programming skills to various applications. Samuel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Computer Information Systems from The University of Texas at El Paso and is currently pursuing NERC Certification Continuing Education at Bismarck State College.
