Kate McGinnis

Kate McGinnis serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Electrada since December 2021 and held multiple leadership roles at Fluence from January 2018 to July 2024, including Vice President and Managing Director, focusing on strategy and partnerships for utility-scale energy storage projects. McGinnis also contributed as a Board Observer at Pexapark and was the Market Director for the Western US at The AES Corporation, facilitating energy storage opportunities. Previous experience includes consulting for Cleantech companies, overseeing business development for Chevron Technology Ventures in energy storage, and managing projects for various environmental organizations. McGinnis earned an MBA in Finance and Sustainable Business from the Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BS in Environmental Studies from The George Washington University.
