Fredrik Nilsson

Fredrik Nilsson is a seasoned design professional currently serving as Principal Experience Designer at Electrolux since May 2022. Prior experience includes a tenure as Senior Industrial Designer at Above.se from January 2017 to April 2022 and an Industrial Designer role at Howl Design Studio AB from August 2015 to January 2017. Fredrik has a strong background in industrial design, having led projects for Husqvarna Group from March 2011 to July 2015 and contributed to concept development at Atlas Copco's Industrial Design Competence Center in late 2010. Earlier in the career, Fredrik held various design positions at Umefast AB, Umeå University, Volvo Construction Equipment, and completed an internship at Toyota Boshoku Japan, enhancing expertise in product design, visual strategy, and project coordination. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Advanced Product Design and a Bachelor’s Degree in Product Design from Umeå Institute of Design.
