Kurt Gabriel

Kurt Gabriel is an experienced model maker with a robust background in prototype development across various industries. Currently serving as a Model Maker at Electrolux since June 2022, Kurt specializes in creating prototypes for new product ideas. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Prototype Model Maker at Goodbaby International and Senior Prototype Machinist/Model Maker at Husqvarna, where expertise in CNC machining and manual fabrication was demonstrated. Earlier positions included Prototype Model Maker at Enventys and Head Prototype Model Maker at Electrolux, managing an Industrial Design Model Shop. Kurt's career began at Cornerstone Prototype Development and included mold-making at Birds & Ivy. Educational credentials include an MFA in Jewelry/Metals from Rhode Island School of Design, an MFA in Sculpture from East Carolina University, and a BFA in Sculpture from UNC-Greensboro.
