Texas-based Element Fuels was founded to develop and operate scalable next generation clean fuels production. Now in Phase I of construction, Element Fuels’ refinery will serve as an industry-leading example of the sustainable economy by using excess hydrogen to produce low carbon intensity fuels. The power plant will be the first large-scale hydrogen-powered plant in the world which truly sets us apart in a significant step forward for the fossil to renewable and lower carbon energy transition. Excess clean electricity (100+ MW) will be made available for the surrounding community to support local needs while contributing to the broader goal of advancing national renewable energy infrastructure.
