Mari Johnson

Mari Johnson is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in administrative law and public service. Currently serving as the Director for Illinois Solar For All at Elevate since June 2023, Mari Johnson previously held the position of Assistant City Attorney for the City of Evanston from February 2022 to June 2023. Prior roles include Administrative Law Judge at the Illinois Commerce Commission, Associate at William C. Connor Law Office, and Mediator for Champaign County Foreclosure Mediation. Mari Johnson has also served as Legal Counsel and Interim Executive Director for the State Universities Civil Service System. Educational credentials include a J.D. with a Tribal Law Certificate from the University of Kansas School of Law, alongside a Master of Science in Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Community Health and Health Education from the University of Illinois System.
