Giovanni Magni

Giovanni Magni is a venture partner at Elevate Capital. Giovanni has over 25 years of experience in the diagnostic and immunohematology industry. Prior to their current position, Giovanni was the Southern Europe General Manager at Bio-Rad Laboratories Srl from 1995-2000. Giovanni was responsible for a sale volume of approximately 70 Billion Italian Liras (equivalent to 55 M US$) and for 140 persons. Their areas of responsibility included Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece and Malta. Giovanni was also responsible for the Italian Manufacturing unit which was involved in the research, development and manufacturing of reagent and small laboratory instrumentations.

From 1991-1995, Giovanni worked as the European Product Manager at Baxter Diagnostics where they were responsible for marketing in Italy, Spain, Portugal and Latin America. Giovanni was also the product leader for Product Development.

Giovanni began their career in 1976 as a Lab Technician at Clinica del Lavoro in Pavia, Italy. Giovanni then went on to become the Chief Product Specialist at Chemetron Chimica S.p from 1987-1991.

Giovanni has a wealth of experience in the diagnostic and immunohematology industry and has proven himself to be a successful leader and manager. Giovanni is an Asset to Elevate Capital and continues to contribute to the success of the company.

Giovanni Magni studied pharmacy at Università di Pavia and then completed a Master Degree in Pharmacy at State University of Pavia.
