Beth Albiani

Beth Albiani was elected to the Elk Grove Unified School District Board of Education to represent Trustee Area 5. She ran unopposed and won election to the board in the general election on November 4, 2014. In December 2018, the Board of Trustees selected Ms. Albiani to serve as Board Clerk and in December 2019, the Board of Trustees selected Ms. Albiani to serve as Board President.

Ms. Albiani is an involved parent and former educator in the Elk Grove Unified School District community. She served as treasurer and president of the PTA and as president of the school site council after retiring from teaching. Her involvement in Elk Grove Unified schools has been about promoting excellence and opportunities for all students. She volunteered with the District’s GATE program, served on the District’s Finance Audit Committee and was acknowledged as an “Education Partner” by the Elk Grove Citizen in 2013.

As the economy improves, Ms. Albiani looks forward to restoring and creating programs and services that will serve all students and the community for the next generation. She advocates for thoughtful communication and for more informed decision making to improve the representation of neighborhood priorities to ensure students are ready for a lifetime of learning.

Ms. Albiani worked as an elementary school teacher in the Elk Grove Unified School District where she focused on literacy. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural business with a concentration in finance from the California Polytechnic State University and her teaching credential at National University.

Returning the Albiani name to the Elk Grove school board, Ms. Albiani brings a unique perspective to the District having taught in a Title I elementary school setting. She was raised in Acampo and attended Galt High School where she earned the honor of Athlete of the Year by the Galt Herald. During her studies in agriculture business and finance at CalPoly, she met her husband, Dennis Albiani. They have four children, including triplets, who all attend Elk Grove schools and are actively involved in 4-H and FFA.
