Olivia M. is currently a researcher at the University of Washington, serving as the primary investigator for a study focused on the evaluation and usage of plans-of-action generated by large language models to aid disaster response. Previous experience includes a role as a user experience designer at JumpStartCSR, where Olivia led a team to develop a UI for traumatic brain injury detection for athletes. Olivia also worked as a teaching aide at the Robinson Center and participated in the Princeton University program in Algorithmic and Combinatorial Thinking. Leadership skills were demonstrated as Vice President of Competition at DECA Inc., overseeing preparation for competitions, along with volunteer tutoring at Timberline Middle School. Olivia is pursuing dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Applied Computational Mathematical Sciences and Human-Centered Design and Engineering at the University of Washington, with an educational background from Redmond High School.
