Rob Ball

Rob Ball is an experienced medical device executive with a strong background in research and development, marketing, and clinical regulatory affairs. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer of Shoulder Innovations since April 2015, Rob has led the development of advanced glenoid fixation technology and a Total Shoulder Replacement System. In addition, Rob holds several influential positions, including Member of the Board of Directors at Embody, Inc., Managing Director at cultivate(MD), and Director at Genesis Innovation Group, which focuses on early-stage medical device investments. Rob is also President & CEO of Magnesium Development Company, which specializes in orthopedic medical device development. Previous roles include Vice President of Global R&D at Tornier and Vice President of Marketing and Product Development at Kinetikos Medical Inc. Rob Ball holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University.
