Rik Thijssen

Rik Thijssen is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in business development and innovation, currently serving as Director of Business Development & Innovation and holding various roles such as Manager of Business Development and Director of External Market at Vitens since September 2009. In addition to this role, Rik is a Jury Member for the Blue Tulip Awards 2021 at Accenture and serves as a member of the Advisory Council for Emerald Technology Ventures' Global Water Impact Fund. Rik is also actively involved with the International Water Association as a Steering Committee member for the Digital Water Programme and as a Council Member of the Smart Water Networks Forum (SWAN). Previous experience includes a Business Development Manager position at TNO Quality of Life.
