Valerie Hunt

Valerie Hunt is a high-performing managing editor with extensive experience in editorial content development and marketing strategy. Currently serving as Managing Editor at the Emergency Medicine Residents' Association (EMRA) since May 2015, Valerie has successfully built print, digital, and app-based resources that achieve educational goals and enhance non-dues revenue. Previous roles include Assistant Executive Editor at MultiView, where electronic publications were created for various associations, and Communications Manager at NATA, where Valerie curated and published a monthly magazine and various digital communications. Valerie began a career in journalism as a news reporter at the Amarillo Globe-News, specializing in crime reporting and regional news. Valerie holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication, Journalism, and Marketing from Eastern New Mexico University.
