Sarah Mitchell

Sarah Mitchell, MMS, PA-C, currently serves as a Physician Assistant at EmergeOrtho since August 2023. Prior experience includes involvement at Wake Forest School of Medicine from June 2021 to May 2023, where Sarah was the IT Support Chair for the Katherine Anderson Student Society within the AAPA and served as a PA Admissions Representative while also completing a Physician Assistant student role. From October 2018 to April 2021, Sarah worked at New Hanover Medical Group/NHRMC Physicians Group as a Safety Officer and Medical Assistant. Earlier work experience includes serving as Head Swim Instructor at UNC Aquatics from January 2017 to October 2018 and as a Student Administrator at the UNC One Card Office during the 2016-2017 academic year. Educational qualifications include a Master of Medical Science degree in Physician Assistant studies from Wake Forest University School of Medicine, obtained in May 2023, and a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise and Sports Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned in 2018.
