Jim Cahill

Jim Cahill is an experienced professional with a strong background in marketing communications, product management, and social marketing. Since joining Emerson in October 1988, Jim has held several key positions, including Chief Blogger and Head of Social Marketing, where responsibilities include managing the Emerson Automation Experts blog. Prior roles at Emerson included Communications Manager, Marketing Product Manager, Alliance Manager, Product Application Group Manager, and Oil & Gas Sales Engineer, contributing to the growth of the DeltaV control system and overseeing various product initiatives. Jim's earlier experience includes serving as a Systems Engineer at Conoco, handling offshore oil and gas production systems. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and an MBA in Marketing and Management from the University of New Orleans.
