Mr. Istvan CSUZI has decades of experience on the field of engineering (operation and maintenance) and more than 12 years of experience as General Manager in Public Transport. As personal achievements between 2008-2017 in Oradea Transport Local SA could be mentioned: the modernization of the Oradea’s Public Transport Network Infrastructure, purchase of more than fifty new trams & buses, managing European Union granted projects (Mechatronic Laboratory for Safety in Public Transport; ATTAC- for the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan for Municipality of Oradea), the implementation of GPS based Fleet Management (AVM) & Real Time Passenger Info System (PIS), RFID card based ticketing system, Automated Fare Control (AFC). From May of 2017 as the General Manager of City Transport LLC as the Operator of buses in Abu Dhabi’s Public Transport Network is responsible to manage the Contract with Integrated Transport Centre- ITC (former Department of Transport- DoT). During the last years Network was extended, continued the Operation and Maintenance of more than three hundred MAN buses, and completed the purchase of almost three hundred new buses (MERCEDES and VOLVO, including all ITS systems!). New developments are continuously, On-Demand services and other optimizations are currently main challenges. Other targets are expansion possibilities in other cities or countries for Company’s know-how implementation in new environments, in different communities.
