Kate Lawlor

Kate Lawlor is a seasoned development professional with extensive experience at Emory University, where since January 2006, Kate has held various leadership roles, including Managing Executive Director of Development for the Emory College of Arts and Sciences. In this current position, Kate serves as Chief Development Officer, leading a team focused on major and principal gifts, alumni engagement, and operational functions. Prior roles at Emory included Senior Director of Alumni Engagement and Annual Giving, where Kate crafted and executed strategies to enhance alumni relations and fundraising, and Senior Director of Alumni Relations, establishing a comprehensive alumni program for a vast network of over 50,000 alumni. Earlier in Kate's career, leadership at Thomas Arvid Fine Art involved growing a start-up fine art publishing company into a significant industry player. Kate holds an MBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School, along with a BA in English and History from Emory University.
