Mark Silverman

Mark Silverman is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in strategic leadership and advisory roles. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Empactful Capital since 2023, Mark has been the Managing Director at Catamount Ventures since September 2006. Mark's previous positions include CEO of AmavaⓇ from 2016 to 2023, Director at Ecree from May 2016 to December 2022, and Director at Lux Research, Inc. from January 2014 to May 2017. Mark has also held board positions at Real Time Genomics, Grid Net, Inc., Bocada, and Modumetal, Inc., among others. Mark holds a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law and a BA in History and Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
