Henry M. Perlowski

Henry M. Perlowski leads the Employment Practice and is a partner in the Litigation Practice.

Mr. Perlowski focuses his national practice on representing employers, including defending them through trial in executive contract, discrimination, wage and hour, and ERISA/employee benefits lawsuits; representing employers and their executives in all forms of competition, fiduciary duty and trade secrets disputes; developing and managing litigation avoidance programs; and managing complex multi-jurisdictional restructurings. He has particular expertise assisting foreign-based companies, including manufacturers, with subsidiaries in the United States, and in representing employers in the energy, health care, technology, logistics and hospitality industries. Mr. Perlowski has substantial trial experience and his practice is nationwide, with him serving as lead counsel in matters filed in more than 20 states.

Mr. Perlowski also focuses on all aspects of employment practices liability insurance, including policy drafting, coverage analysis and litigation, and claims monitoring and evaluation services, and represents insurers and policyholders in complex insurance coverage and bad faith litigation.

Mr. Perlowski has been recognized annually by Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, by Georgia Super Lawyers and as “Legal Elite” by Georgia Trend magazine. He also serves as the firm’s liaison with the Employment Law Alliance, an international network of law firms dedicated to providing counsel to employers. Mr. Perlowski is a frequent speaker and author on all aspects of employment liability and risk avoidance, including on employment practices liability insurance. Mr. Perlowski’s interests include travel, live music (particularly in small clubs/dive bars), cooking and baseball, and sharing at least three of those interests with his growing family. He is a big believer that the true quality of life is measured by the accumulation of experiences, not things.
