Brett Alessi

Brett Alessi is a distinguished education leader with extensive experience in driving innovation and partnership in schools. As Co-Founder and Partner at Empower Schools since July 2013, Brett collaborates with communities to achieve educational goals. Previously, Brett served as Managing Director of New Initiatives at Massachusetts 2020, focusing on education innovation, and held executive roles at Education Pioneers in Greater Boston and New England. Other key positions include Founding Director of Corporate Social Responsibility at Revolution Health Group and Deputy Director at Innovations in Civic Participation. Early career experience includes teaching roles at San Francisco Day School and Clyde Brown School. Brett earned a MAT in Education from Brown University and a BA in History from Middlebury College.
