Úna Dillon

Úna Dillon serves as the VP Global Expansion & Advocacy at MRC | Merchant Risk Council since 2016, while also being an advisor for EMVCo and a special advisor for the European Commission Payment Systems Market Expert Group. Dillon has over two decades of experience in the payment and card services industry, including roles as Chair of the European Payments Council Card Fraud Prevention Forum and Managing Director at Mill House Consulting. Notably, Dillon has held significant positions at the Irish Payment Services Organisation, including Head of Card Services & Communications, and General Manager at Laser Card Services Ltd. Demonstrating expertise in strategic planning, security standards, and industry advocacy, Dillon has contributed to key regulatory and operational initiatives across European payment systems. Educational background includes a BA in Economics and Italian from University College Cork and partial studies in Maths and Physics at University College Dublin.
