Dustin Bass is in his second year as a member of the Emergency Nurses Association Board of Directors.
Bass currently serves as the assistant vice president of emergency services at Atrium Health Cabarrus. He is a diverse and multi-faceted nurse leader who is passionate about improving the lives of nurses on the stretcher side. He received his bachelor’s degree in biological science from Mountain State University and earned his nursing diploma from Mercy School of Nursing in Charlotte, North Carolina, before continuing on to obtain a bachelor’s degree in nursing from UNC-Charlotte and his master’s degree in health care administration from Ohio University. He is currently enrolled in the DNP program at Yale University to study health care policy, innovation, and system leadership. Bass is a Board Certified Emergency Nurse and a Board Certified Nurse Executive.
