Sanjiv Sarpal

Sanjiv Sarpal, SCMP, currently serves as a Purchaser at Bird Construction since March 2023. Previously, Sarpal held positions at TransAlta as a Buyer from August 2018 to March 2023, and at Cenovus Energy Inc. as a Procurement Analyst from September 2013 to December 2017. Early career experiences include roles as a Materials Management Specialist at Bantrel, a Materials Management Coordinator at Jacobs, a Buyer at Imperial Oil, and a Material Controller at Jacobs Engineering. Sarpal has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Calgary and additionally pursued a Business Administration diploma in Marketing Management at Mount Royal University, along with studies at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
