Lauren Steiner

Lauren Steiner, DVM, currently serves as a Veterinarian at Encore Vet Group since January 2024, following a tenure with IndeVets from August 2023 to January 2024 and Providence River Animal Hospital from June 2022 to August 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Small Animal Rotating Intern at BluePearl Specialty + Emergency Pet Hospital from June 2021 to June 2022, and an earlier position as a Veterinary Assistant in the Laboratory Animal Care Unit at The University of Tennessee Health Science Center, where Lauren assisted with research protocols and treatments for various animals. Additional experience encompasses an internship at Memphis Zoo, participating in necropsies and surgeries on exotic animals, and a student internship at Equine Veterinary Associates of Olive Branch. Lauren holds a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida, obtained from 2017 to 2021, and a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Miami, completed in 2017.
