Kevin Porter

Kevin Porter is an experienced professional with a strong background in electrical and radio frequency engineering. Since 2007, Kevin has served as the Supervisor of Codes & Standards at Encore Wire Corp, actively participating on National Electrical Code (NEC) Code Making Panels CMP 7 and CMP 15. Previous roles include positions as a Math & Science Teacher at Dallas Independent School District and Senior RF Consultant at Navini Networks, among others in various technical capacities at companies such as Verizon Wireless Messaging Service and Nortel Networks. Kevin holds a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology, and a Master of Science in Psychological Science from The University of Texas at Dallas.
