Stuart Thomson

Stuart Thomson is an experienced professional in process engineering and project management with a strong background in the mining and resource sectors. Currently serving as the Group Studies Manager at Endeavour Mining Corporation since August 2021, Stuart has previously held significant roles such as Study Manager/Project Director at Trafigura, and Senior Study Manager at Wood. Stuart's extensive experience encompasses managing various studies for gold and coal projects in Africa, overseeing strategic innovation initiatives at Anglo American and Anglo Coal, and contributing to projects in the DRC, Zambia, and Cuba. Stuart holds a Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from The University of Auckland and has completed a Management Development Program in Business Administration at Stellenbosch University.
