Quang Ong

Quang Ong is a multifaceted professional with a focus on software development and mathematics education. Currently serving as a Software Developer Intern at Endla, Quang is developing a 3D data visualisation tool using React, Typescript, and three.js. In addition, Quang is an active member of the Australian Maths Trust, contributing as a lecturer, problem setter, developer, and IOI coach for the Australian Informatics Olympiad program. Quang also coaches students for the USACO, emphasizing problem-solving skills, as well as providing personalized tutoring that fosters independent learning. Previous experience includes a role as an Undergraduate Mathematics researcher at the University of Melbourne and a successful tutoring position where a student progressed significantly within the USACO rankings. Quang holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from the University of Melbourne and previously completed a High School Diploma in Computer Science at John Monash Science School.
